"Full disclosure up front, this rating is more reflective of StateFarm the company than this agency. Blake and his team are 5 stars! StateFarm HQ is zero stars. Before you select StateFarm for your insurance needs, please take the time to read the reviews. There are several sites where they have a 1 out of 5 star review. They have 1.23 out of 5 stars with the Better Business Bureau and an “F” rating. After 11 years of paying a healthy home and care insurance premium, I attempted to file a claim after my house sustained significant roof, siding, and gutter damage. The Statefarm adjuster said we have a lot of damage, confirmed by a reputable roofing company and independent adjuster. After waiting 4 weeks, with numerous calls and emails, Statefarm finally contacted me. They were willing to pay to replace dozens of damaged individual shingles all over the roof, and patch my siding. Their payment was exactly my deductible—go figure. Is this a joke? Dozens of my neighbors who all had similar damage were paid by their companies within weeks. None by Statefarm. A few days later I got an AI generated letter from StateFarm Headquarters that they were cancelling my policy within 90 days because I filed a claim, albeit a zero dollar paid claim. I cancelled my homeowners and car policies and found a reputable company. Again, look at the StateFarm reviews before making your decision."

I reviewed our conversation history within your file and prior to the appeal conversation and it looks as though you were going to get a different roofer out to give you a second opinion after the snow cleared from your roof. I don’t see where we received an additional estimate from you. The appeal was in the process of being reviewed but you instructed us not to file the appeal and cancel all of your policies. While we strive to provide the best possible service, it’s clear there was some miscommunication. Your concerns about the claims process and communication have been noted and passed along to our claims partners.
